We exist to serve the community by supporting the work of Abbotsford Hospice & Grief Support Society through the management, assistance, and building of an endowment.
Meet our Foundation Board Members
Our foundation is guided by a group of individuals who generously volunteer their time, expertise, and passion to fulfill our mission. Our board members are instrumental in steering the foundation's course and ensuring that our services align with the highest standards of care and integrity.
Jon has over 30 years of business, financial, and investment management experience, ranging from private business to Portfolio Management, with two of Canada's largest bank wealth management divisions. He is now a principal with Anchor Pacific Investment Management. He spent several years of his earlier career working with international companies and pension managers designing and implementing various investment and hedging strategies.
Jon lives in the North Bradner community of Abbotsford with Susan, his wife. They have three children: Kate, Alex and Sara. Jon and Susan enjoy their hobby farm and share it with horses, chickens, cats, two dogs, and a pair of donkeys named Gus and Elliot.

As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Wealth Advisor and Financial Planner with RBC Dominion Securities, Cameron provides access to a comprehensive range of services.
A Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), Cameron has a university background in Mathematics from UFV. A firm believer in ongoing education, he has acquired the advanced industry designations of Chartered Investment Management (CIM), Professional Financial Planning (PFP), Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM), and DMS (Derivative Market Specialist). In his spare time he enjoys golfing, hiking and traveling. Cameron and his wife Laura have one beautiful son Bennett.

Tyler serves as the Chief Operating Officer and In-House Counsel at Five Peaks Capital, an investment firm based out of Abbotsford, BC. He's been a practicing lawyer since 2018 in the areas of real estate law, business law and estate planning law. Tyler lives in Abbotsford with his wife, Tamara, and their five children, Lily, Curren, Oliver, Ruby and Elsie.

Miriam enjoys being a community leader as the Executive Director of the Mission Downtown Business Association. She brings her passion for small local businesses and extensive experience in administration, event planning, marketing, and networking to her role. Miriam has always believed strongly in giving back through community service and currently serves as the Vice President of Wonder Women Society, volunteers with Hope Central serving meals, and is involved with several other community service groups. She has personally experienced the incredible impact of support services AHGSS offers and is pleased to join the Board of Directors to help ensure that these valuable services continue for many years to come.
Miriam Bozman
Director
Mike spent his early years and schooling in Abbotsford. After university, he pursued his management career with the federal public service, serving across Canada with the Department of National Defence, Employment and Immigration, National Rescue, and the Canada Border Services Agency. As a result, Mike has over 38 years of rich and diverse experience in operations and HR management, with more than 20 of these years in senior executive positions.
Mike is a graduate of SFU and the National Defence College of Canada and has been an organizer and alumnus with the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conferences. Mike's other volunteer services include Workforce Team Leader, Hockey for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Abbotsford Police Board, and backstage crew with Fraser Valley Stage over the past 20 years. Mike and his wife Kathleen and family have resided in Abbotsford since 1997.

Gurjit has been in the Insurance market since 1995 in England where he worked with an Insurance Company. He moved into Commercial Broking after 14 months and has remained in that ever since. He and his family moved to Vancouver in 2014 and joined Marsh Vancouver. He has worked for some of the large National Brokers over the years and large Provincial Brokers in the UK. He has a wide range of experience in dealing with personal lines along with specialty covers and claims with composite insurers and Lloyds of London. He started with our Foundation Board in 2015.
